Keyword Research
There at a number of great free and user pay keyword research tools you can use for your research.
I like to use a combination of 3.
Google Keyword Tool
Word Tracker
Micro Niche Finder
First you need an idea; you could use the Micro Niche Finder brainstorming tools for the latest idea and hottest searches or use one of your own.
Once you have an idea for a keyword use Word tracker FREE keyword suggestion tool to come up 100 related keywords and their daily search count. Choose the highest 10 or so with a daily search count of 50 or more.
Next enter the top 10 keywords into Google and check out the competition, if there are a million other sites rated for that keyword find another, your looking for a high daily search with less than 100000 competitive sites.
Once you have a likely keyword enter your keyword into the Google keyword tool and check the Advertiser Competition, if its a full green bar then there must be money in it.
If you want to take it a step farther you need to use micro niche finder but this tool is not free.
Enter your keyword in the search bar of micro niche finder and it will come up with 200 new keywords that you can filter to find the keyword for you. It has a number of features but the key one is it will determine the strength of your competition for a target keyword phrase and tell you if your keyword is available as a domain name.
Now there is a bit more to this keyword research but I’m not going to give away all the trade secrets. Check out the 3 keyword tools I mentioned and read up on what they have to say.
Micro Niche Finder has 5 very helpful free videos and Wordtracker has a free PDF Keyword Research Guide to download.
