I want to be a nutter

I know that’s not very PC but then I not a PC type of guy. But here’s why I want to be a nutter.
The Scene.
Its half an hour before knock off, rush hour traffic is building up and I’m sitting in my van melting in the summer heat. Half the city is still in holiday mode and I have to get across town to an urgent breakdown, Truth be known it’s probably been broken all day But it has to be fixed now. Did I say its half an hour until home time.
So I’m sitting at the traffic lights when a nutter rides pass me, I’ll say he’s a nutter but he could be the sanest man on the planet. Anyway he’s riding his bike along the road. Normal you say. Expect he peddles forward one rotation then backwards for two. Then it’s forward for one rotation then backwards for two. You get the idea. Add to this he’s steering with one hand and the other is on his hip, which is turned sideways. So he’s doing his vision of “I’m a little teapot” as he rides along one rotation forward and two backwards. To complete the picture his back tyre is flat. When the lights go green I pass this man on the bike and he is still riding the same way, then he passes me at the next set of lights, still peddling one rotation forward two backwards. But happy as without a care in the world from the look of content on his face

So why do I want to be this guy? Well, not this guy exactly but what he represents.
The freedom to ride your bike at a nice slow pace while everyone around you is rushing around with their heads cut off. The freedom to do what you want when you want and not answer to anyone.

And my goal is to one day ride my bike at a slow pace where ever I like.
