Its time for the real me to step forward. For the past year I have been learning how to make money from the Internet. Day 1 I fall for a great sales pitch and signed up for a $3000 product that was going to let me retire in a few months. Not. The monthly fees for this product was $360. The training was terrible, but I through it was great, as I didn’t know any better. So after 3 months I had earned $300 from this product but minimum pay out was $500.
I had used up $7000 of our savings on product, adwords and buying leads and traffic. Boy was I dumb and for what. An ear bashing from the wife.
So I cut my loses got out of that marketing system. I still have the product and can use it for life. So it was not a total lost. The end product is cheap 5 star holidays that I will use and market again soon.
During this learning curve which will never stop. I came across Magnetic Sponsoring. I signed up for the book about building your business on a budget and started to use it. Shock horror I made some money. Then like a dumb ass I went off chasing the next idea. Now this was a complete package, websites training and products. To date I have had not one sale from this product, BUT the training within this product opened my eyes. It was worth every dollar I spent on the product. All 600 + of them. Now I do recommend the basic product at $97 as the information in this is worth 10 times more.
The next distraction cost me a couple of thousand but this time it had a money back guarantee. I had leant some thing.
So after 3 months of technical problems with this product I got my money back and made a profit due to the exchange rate going in my favour.
I went back to Magnetic Sponsoring and finally read the book about Magnetic Sponsoring. Man I should have read this months earlier. I would have saved myself $1000’s and months of time. Anyway. I started to put all this new found knowledge to use by putting together my own mailing list and product. I was two months into this when I came across the exact system I was building already done. A system that was 10000 times better than anything I was going to build. So I gave up my dream. Not really. I just stopped wasting my time and plugged into the ready built system.
So here I am 13 months later still not making heaps of money but for the $20000 I have spent over the past year I now have a number of websites promoting different products. I can now build and host a web page in a few hours. Get number 1 page ranking on Google.
